Julia Oleksiak

Julia brings multifaceted experience in nonprofit outreach, federal land management agency support, curriculum and training development, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout her work, Julia has focused on building meaningful community connections, fostering diverse partnerships, and promoting collaborative engagement opportunities. Prior to joining CDR, Julia served as the Education and Outreach Manager at Leave No Trace, a national outdoor education organization, as well as donning the green and gray with the National Park Service. Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources from Colorado State University where she was awarded the Robert Davis Honor Sr. Memorial Award, recognizing her academic achievement and strong potential for future leadership. Julia is especially interested in building equitable engagement processes, seeking climate resilient solutions across practice areas, and building consensus around complex land management issues and “wicked” environmental problems.

In her free time, you can find her soaking up the Colorado sunshine at a local park or trail, nerding out over plants, and enjoying fika with friends.
